The New Destiny Family Success Center (New Destiny FSC) proudly hosted its first-ever Homeowners Savings & Resources Expo through its Homeowners Support Network (HOSN), bringing homeowners, community leaders, and service providers together for an afternoon filled with opportunity, education, and meaningful connections. The inaugural event welcomed more than 30 homeowners, along with Paterson Mayor André Sayegh, whose attendance underscored the importance of providing homeowners with access to trusted resources and support. The Expo also featured 13 dedicated community organizations, all gathered in one place to provide expert guidance, valuable services, and direct access to programs that can make a real difference for local homeowners.
From foreclosure prevention counseling and mortgage reviews to home repair programs, legal services, financial education, housing resources, lead remediation, and professional home inspections, attendees had the unique opportunity to connect face-to-face with organizations committed to helping homeowners succeed. Many participants also took advantage of exclusive discounts, free services, and special incentives offered by community partners, making the event both informative and immediately beneficial.
The impact of the Expo continues beyond the event itself. Many homeowners requested ongoing support through HOSN and will now participate in personalized Homeownership Stability Reviews. These one-on-one sessions will help identify each homeowner’s unique needs, connect them with appropriate community resources, and determine eligibility for additional HOSN assistance. The success of this first Expo demonstrated the power of collaboration and community partnership. By bringing together 13 trusted organizations under one roof—and with the support of local leadership—New Destiny FSC’s Homeowners Support Network made it easier than ever for homeowners to access services, ask questions, and take meaningful steps toward long-term housing stability.
As New Destiny FSC looks ahead, the Homeowners Savings & Resources Expo marks the beginning of what we hope will become a signature community event that connects residents with the resources they need to protect their homes, build financial stability, and strengthen their neighborhoods. New Destiny FSC extends its sincere appreciation to Mayor André Sayegh, our 13 community partners, volunteers, and staff members whose commitment and collaboration made this inaugural Expo a tremendous success. Together, we are helping homeowners preserve homeownership, strengthen neighborhoods, and build a more resilient community.
