In February, a total of 124 students from Grades K-8 were celebrated for outstanding attendance during the second marking period, missing no more than one day of school. Their commitment to showing up every day was rewarded with an unforgettable experience filled with fun, excitement and well-deserved recognition.
The celebration featured a variety of activities that catered to all interests. Students immersed themselves in a gaming truck, face painting, and a spa/glam station. The joy and excitement were evident as students laughed, played and enjoyed the special day dedicated to their hard work.
One of the most memorable moments of the event was seeing some of the students try Chick-fil-A for the very first time! The delicious food was a highlight, bringing smiles and excitement to many who had never experienced it before.
This celebration was not just about rewards; it was a powerful reminder that showing up matters. By recognizing that our students’ commitment to attendance, we reinforced the importance of consistency and dedication in their academic journey. We look forward to continuing to celebrate our students and encouraging even greater attendance success in the future! Location: FSCS Senator Frank Lautenberg School No. 6
