A Place for Healing, Restoration, Reconciliation, and Transformation

The Restorative & Transformative Justice (RTJ) Dream Center Hub is committed to supporting youth, emerging adults, and families affected by the juvenile justice system. Through a collaborative and restorative approach, the RTJ Dream Center Hub empowers participants to heal, grow, and reimagine a future full of possibilities and hope. Serving the Paterson community, the RTJ Dream Center Hub offers comprehensive, wraparound services designed to meet the unique needs of individuals ages 14-26, fostering personal growth, reconciliation, and lasting transformation.

Program Goals

The RTJ Dream Center Hub’s key goal is to divert youth from engagement with the juvenile justice system and lower the rates of recidivism among Paterson’s court involved youth. The program strives to create a supportive environment where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive by incorporating three core pillars of restorative justice:

  • Addressing harm and needs.
  • Fostering accountability.
  • Promoting meaningful community engagement.

 

The RTJ Dream Center Hub is dedicated to repairing harm, rebuilding relationships, and transforming lives.

Population Focus

 RTJ Dream Center Hub primarily serves youth and emerging adults aged 14-26 in Paterson who have been directly or indirectly impacted by the juvenile justice system, providing them with the resources and support needed for a brighter future.

Program Services

Mental Health Services

Individual, group, and family counseling services to foster emotional well-being and resilience.

Substance Use Recovery Support

Comprehensive treatment programs, including counseling, educational resources, and referrals for intensive care.

Education Advocacy

Academic tutoring, behavioral support, school reintegration assistance, and GED programs.

Employment Readiness

Career preparation through resume workshops, mock interviews, and long-term employment guidance.

Housing Support

Assistance with independent or transitional living arrangements and stabilization services to help youth remain in a supportive environment.

Financial Literacy

Training in budgeting, credit education, debt resolution, and identity theft prevention.

Life Skills Development

Workshops on nutrition, effective communication, time management, and self-care practices.

Community Healing Initiatives

Peace circles, mentoring services, and community conferences to repair harm and foster empathy.
