Join us for our 1st Virtual 5K! Complete this 5K Your Way Challenge any way you want! You can run, walk, bike or paddle at the park or at the beach. You can even finish your 3.1 miles in the basement of your home on a treadmill. The choice is yours, so get creative!

Join us for our 1st Virtual 5K! Complete this 5K Your Way challenge any way you want! You can run, walk, or bike at the park or you can paddle at the beach. You can even finish your 3.1 miles in the basement of your home on a treadmill. The choice is yours, so get creative!

Share your pics with the hashtag #5KYourWay #TeamNewDestiny. Every one who registers will be entered for random drawings throughout the month so be sure to follow our social media and join our Facebook 5K Your Way event page. You can even add your final time, so that we can rank you up against other challengers in the same grouping. We will also be make a few other prize announcements via our Facebook page as we get a little closer to the race.

Your 5K Your Way Challenge must be completed during 10/19 - 11/2.

The race fee includes an awesome t-shirt and a fabulous digital bib & medal! Participants will receive their t-shirts approximately two weeks after the event finishes on 11/2/20.

Why should I support the 5K Your Way Run?

We are constantly hearing the words, “we are all in this together”. Your support of the “5K Your Way” fundraiser allows New Destiny to tangibly touch a youth or family through a "wellness check-in" phone call from one of our family partners or other ways such as providing:

  • Two week supply of diapers and wipes for newborns: toddlers: $50
  • A dozen new baby bottles: $40
  • A two hour session of Art Therapy for adults coping with depression, grief or loss: $90
  • A Virtual Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) workshop for 15 elementary school students: $110
  • Virtual Game Night featuring prizes with multiple families: $75
  • Life skills training and counseling such as: Financial Literacy, Healthy Cooking, Citizenship Workshops, English as a Second Language, Utility Assistance, and More
